Donation FAQs
Is my donation tax-exempt?
Yes. Lucky Life Foundation is 12A and 80G registered, so your donation is eligible for a deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Every online donation gets a receipt by email straight away. To claim the deduction, tick the 80G box and add your PAN and address: after the financial year ends we report your donation to the Income Tax Department in Form 10BD and send you a Form 10BE certificate, which is what you use in your return. For bank transfers, email us the transfer confirmation with your PAN and address. Cash donations above ₹2,000 are not eligible for 80G.
Is it safe to donate online here?
Yes. Online payments are processed through Razorpay, a licensed payment gateway used by banks and businesses across India. We never see or store your card, UPI, or banking details — Razorpay handles that directly.
Can I get a refund if I donated by mistake?
Yes — contact us within 7 days of the transaction with your payment ID and we'll review it. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 7–10 working days. See our refund policy for details.
How is my donation used?
If you choose a focus area, your gift is used for that area. Otherwise it goes to whichever of our eight focus areas needs it most at the time. Funds are split between direct program delivery, basic operations, and organizational growth. See our transparency page for how we use funds.
